Borneo is a truly great family adventure destination. Basing ourselves at the 5-star Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort, we have 3 days of adventures. A day of hiking at the Kinabalu Park with an amazing variety of flora and great view of Mt. Kinabalu, the highest peak of SE Asia. Then, enjoy a day of white water rafting down the Padas River over grade 3 or 4 rapids. And finally, spend a day of snorkeling in the colorful underwater garden of Abdul Rahman National Park.

Upon arrival, be met by your local guide & transfer to Shangri-la Tanjung Aru for 4-nights stay on a bed & breakfast basis.

DAY 02 02APR (MON) KINABALU PARK AND PORING HOT SPRING
Today, drive about 2 hours to Kinabalu Park. At 1550m, it enjoys a pleasant climate year round and offers an amazing variety of flora including thousands of species of orchids and many rare pitcher plants. Enjoy a hike with a nationalist who will show you much interesting details. You will also catch an education slide-show at the Park's Information Center. Enjoy the canopy walk and Hot Spring in Poring.
In the evening, return to the resort.

DAY 03 03APR (TUE) WHITE WATER RAFTING
Another great day of adventure with white water rafting in Sabah!
Journey to the Padas Rafting site at 5:30 am. Drive 1.5 hours to the train station to catch a 2 hours train-ride going through villages and up the hill to the start point of the raft. After a safety briefing and gearing up, down the Padas, you will overcome rapids of grade III or IV. At the end of the raft, enjoy a sumptuous BBQ lunch in the wilderness before taking the train and coach back to the resort.

DAY 04 04APR (WED) SNORKELING IN A RAHMAN NATIONAL PARK
Spend the day island hopping in Abdul Rahman National Park. Swim in secluded beaches and snorkel amongst colorful underwater gardens of corals and fishes! Enjoy BBQ buffet lunch on the beach.
Return to the hotel for the night and this evening; be treated to a farewell seafood dinner.

DAY 05 05APR (THU) KOTA KINABALU/KUALA LUMPUR/ SHANGHAI
Day at leisure until evening transfer to the airport for flight.
