Sharon Heng
Realising that the bits and bytes of the IT Industry were not for her, Sharon decided to venture into what interested her most - travel. So, armed with nothing more than her own varied travel experiences and knack for trip planning, she joined Country Holidays as a tour consultant and has not looked back since.

Besides travelling to new places, meeting the local people and experiencing different cultures, she believes what really makes a trip memorable are the unexpected moments and little surprises that delight and leave an impression. Her latest travel adventure has been a 4 months backpacking trip to Antarctica and South America, where she journeyed from the freezing shores of the Antarctic to the scorching deserts of Chile and Argentina. Well-travelled and having stepped on all 7 continents in the world, Sharon is keen to share her travel experiences and help others plan their dream holiday to the most exotic locations in the world

Selene Liu
Selene fell in love with traveling when she was young. She enjoys exploring the remote corners of the world and joined Country Holidays to realize her travel dream after graduating from the university.

Through books and familiarizaion trips, Selene is now familiar with most of Country Holidays' itineraries. She impresses with her sincerity; always trying her best to plan the most memorable trip for her clients.

Favourite travel experience: In Thailand - cruising down river on longtail boat trip, hiking through paddy fields, riding onelephant at dawn in a bamboo forest, enjoying sugarcanes for breakfast and taking afternoon dips in the river, making elephant friends and learning to "drive" with experienced mahouts!

Sandy Chen
Sandy is from Guilin, one of the most beautiful and famous tourist city in south of China. She worked in Sheraton Guilin hotel for about 12 years before joining Country Holidays as a tour consultant in China tours department. As China offers a great variety of sights, activities and experiences, Sandy enjoys putting up the best itinerary to suit client's interests. Sandy is also a keen photographer and you can find her with a camera along remote corners of Shanghai on weekends - capturing the street scenes and adding more pictures to her album.

Susie Zhao
Susie loves to collect all kinds of coins since she was a little child. Her interest in coin collection sparkled after her uncle brought home coins from overseas. Since then, Susie's dream is to be able to travel all over the world and add on to her coin collection. She worked for a ticketing agency before getting her dream job in Country Holidays. Since working as a tour consultant, she had the opportunity to travel to Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Singapore, Thailand and many parts of China that she haven't even heard of.

While traveling, she enjoys making new friends and keeping in touch with them. Her slogan is "Experience counts more than anything".

Jenny Sun
Jenny is an optimistic and cheerful lady. She fell in love with travel when she started traveling with her grandparents since she was four.

She hopes to cover more corners of the world and chose a travel career after graduation. Joining Country Holidays enables her to fulfill her dream to travel to more remote destinations.




Favourite travel experience: Spend the lazy and nothing to do afternoon in the Thailand's nice beach.

Nicole Li
When I was a young girl, I often dreamed of travelling around the world. So I chose tourism management as my major in university to further my interest in travel. I was lucky to be offered a position in Country Holidays after graduation and am happy to learn and gather more experience in this "big family".

Amelie Ao
Amelie believes that life is about journey more than destination. That could be the reason why donning a backpack and travelling with friends is what she enjoys most! From traveling, she experienced different cultures, got closer to nature and made new friends. Most importantly, travel opens up another new perspective and she felt enriched upon returning each time. As a tour consultant in Country Holidays, she hopes to share her travel experience around China and provide impeccable service that will make her clients' trips special and memorable!

Tan Siew Yim, Co Founder
Siew Yim started her first job with a reputable travel agent after getting a Business degree. She had good fun organizing adventure trips for her clients and working with a bunch of travel craze colleagues. She left to experience life in a bank but realized that a desk bound job is not suited for her. She made a "comeback" in the travel agent scene after realizing her passion was in travel and set up Country Holidays with her husband Theng Hwee. It was a "dream come true" when she landed in Antarctica in 1996. Travel allows her to enjoy her other hobbies - photography and writing. To her, it's a joy to travel to a destination and having the experience and photographs published in a prestigious magazine!

Chang Theng Hwee, Founder
As a boy, Theng Hwee was already fascinated with maps and his most prized gift from his father was a Singapore Road directory when he was seven! He would spend his free time tracing maps and memorizing the bus numbers and route. It was a dream come true when he took his first train ride to Malaysia. Travel has always been in Theng Hwee's blood and he spent much time organizing trips for his friends in his university days.
He pursues his travel dream by setting up Country Holidays after working for a few years at the bank. He started from scratch by handling all sales and operations and is pleased that he has established Country Holidays as a reputable agent and took a big step forward to set up overseas offices. Today, he is busy but happy globe trotting around taking care of his three children (when he travels for leisure) and three overseas offices (when he travels for business).
